NAIFA GADSDEN

Association's Education Goals
Value added is a key phrase that GAIFA strives to make a part of its dues structure. We offer each year a minimum of 12 hours of Continuing Education credits for our members at no cost. We extend to sister associations the invitation to attend the classes at reduced cost and even allow non-members to attend for a nominal fee.

GAIFA provides the credits through monthly luncheons and at regularly scheduled CE classes. All courses are approved through the Alabama Department of Insurance for credit. Courses that are presently available range from Ethics to Long Term Care and Retirement Planning. GAIFA also provide courses for the Home Service and the Multi Lines agents. Cost for members of GAIFA is free with dues paid current.

The association each year at regular intervals offers LUTC classes. We currently have one class in session and an additional class scheduled for early spring. A discount for members of GAIFA is offered as a part of our value added program. LUTC online training is now also available. Course being offered are (LUTC 201), Meeting Client Needs (LUTC 202), Business Continuity (LUTC 301), and Employee Benefits (LUTC 302).

The OTC (On Line Training Center) is a web-based interactive learning system that enables LUTC students to receive the same moderator-led programs that are offered in the LUTC classroom setting. It provides training that can be accomplished at the agent’s convenience and additional opportunities for agents to participate in the LUTC program.

The OTC is available at www.lutcOTC.com. Registrations received through the third week of each month will be for classes starting the first week of the following month.
